This year students will be learning the following in Math.

 1.      Number sense, concepts, and operations

                   The students will add and subtract two-digit numbers with or without regrouping using models, concrete materials, and algorithms.

 2.         Measurements

                   They will also demonstrate and understand the customary and metric measurement of length and distance, Selecting appropriate units of measurement (for example, inches, feet, yards, centimeters, Meters).

 3.      Geometry and spatial sense

                   By the end of the year they will sorts two- and three-dimensional figures according to their attributes.

 4.      Data Analysis and Probability

                   Last but not least they will be able to pose questions and collect data to answer questions with two, three, or more categories or choices (for example, favorite ice cream, left handed/right handed).
